Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide support for an existing Epicor Prophet 21 ERP system using SQL, C#.
NET, Crystal Reports, and SQL Report Studio, as well as being a key contact for ERP technical support.
This position will also require the integration of the Prophet 21 system with other external systems, writing and supporting these integrations through their lifecycle.
Works with project teams and administration to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into reports, business rules, automations and documentation.
The ERP Developer will be involved with the development, distribution, and delivery of all KPI's, Dashboards, automations, ERP system changes within Nelson-Jameson, Inc.
as well as form modifications.
Daily support of ERP users within Epicor Prophet 21 is expected, including system optimization, process mapping, creation/maintenance of P21 business rules and general application expertise.
Will work with the Business Analyst team to accomplish these tasks.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Designs, develops and maintains business programs, applications, reports and analytical tools, including ongoing monitoring and refinement.
Epicor Prophet 21 analytical tools (SQL based) C#.
NET Epicor Prophet 21 Business Rules Microsoft Excel MS Visual Studio MS SQL Server 2016 SSRS Power BI Crystal Reports Partners with departmental teams to define and document business requirements for new business rules, automations, and reports.
Obtains requirements using interviews, document analysis, business process descriptions, tasks and workflow analysis.
Evaluates alternate solutions and design processes and systems which include:
user impact considerations, cost and benefit analysis and processing specifications.
Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, and works with members of a team to uncover unmet business needs.
Develops and maintains existing business data files.
Helps promote end user understanding of available data through training.
Also makes sure that duplication of effort is not occurring within the organization or in IT for reporting.
Carry out other duties as may be assigned or requested.
Required Education and
Experience:
High school degree or equivalent.
Minimum 2-3 years' experience as an ERP Developer or in a related field.

BS Degree in one of the following subject areas:
Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Information Technology or other related field preferred.
Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of SQL reporting/query tools and practices C#/C+
Experience ASP.
