Job Description:
Effective Laborer Carpenters will provide support to the Lead Carpenters and Jobsite Foreman by helping them complete projects on time and within budget.
They undertake a range of duties that include but are not limited to the following responsibilities.
JOB
Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare construction sites Load and unload materials and equipment Assist in building processes such as but not limited to:
building or taking down scaffolding and other temporary structures, installation of doors and windows, building fixtures, installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work, installing drywall and installation, adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures.
Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties to support the overall project Take direction from supervisors in implementing construction plans Strong communication skills with Lead Carpenters and Jobsite Foreman Accurately record work time and categories into ExakTime JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have reliable transportation High school diploma or equivalent Ability to follow all safety procedures Ability to follow direction effectively with strong attention to detail Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks Ability to work in all weather conditions Employees must be punctual and reliable Must have experience as a general laborer in the construction industry Demonstrate consistent adherence to the core values of Central Cor Construction Job Type:
