Summary:
The PC Maintenance Technician interacts with customers on site throughout each day to configure, install and maintain endpoint technology equipment including PCs, printers, monitors, scanners, phones, peripherals and other related equipment. Also involved with major system updates that impact hardware or software applications.
## Job Duties
Provides exceptional service to clients in a medical setting ensuring the best customer experience.
Installs and configures desktop hardware and software.
Conducts troubleshooting and maintains desktop technology including PCs, printers, monitors, phones, peripherals and other related equipment.
Works in getting equipment repaired or replaced as required.
Assists with testing of future hardware acquisitions.
Demonstrates the use of new hardware to training staff and end-users when it is acquired.
Assists with the preparation of product user guides for end-users.
Assists Network Services and/or NOC in troubleshooting and installing network equipment as required.
Follows approved asset tracking procedures to ensure accurate computer and equipment inventory.
Keeps abreast of technological developments and changes in the field of information technology in a rapidly changing environment.
Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
#### Experience and Skills:
## Associate degree related to PC Maintenace work including customer service experience or 4
years of relevant work experience is required.
Education: (Education qualifications must be from a school whose accreditation is recognized by Marshfield Clinic Information Services)

Experience:
Experience with desktop and mobile computers, printers and other desktop technologies.
Formal training in computer science is required.
Experience with Windows desktop operating systems is required, Mac desktop operating system preferred.
Software product knowledge, especially Microsoft products, is preferred.
